HAL Junior Executive Eligibility 2026
Candidates should possess a Regular/Full-Time Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/Institute under the prescribed 10+2+4 system, in the relevant discipline or eligible branch specified by HAL. HAL

HAL Junior Executive Qualification – Percentage
Candidates must have secured the following minimum aggregate marks:

HAL Junior Executive Age Limit 2026
The maximum age limit is 28 years as on 17 October 2026 for UR and EWS candidates.
Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC-NCL – 3 years
- PwBD – 10 years, in addition to applicable SC/ST/OBC-NCL relaxation
- Jammu & Kashmir domicile candidates – 5 years, subject to the conditions in the notification
- Ex-Servicemen and serving Armed Forces personnel – as per HAL rules. HAL
HAL Junior Executive Salary 2026
Junior Executives engaged on short-term basis will be placed in the E0 Pay Scale of ₹30,000–₹1,20,000.
The remuneration includes:
- Basic Pay – ₹30,000 per month
- Dearness Allowance
- House Rent Allowance, where applicable
- Cafeteria Allowance at 35% of Basic Pay
- Annual increment of 3% on Basic Pay in the second and third years
- Medical insurance reimbursement up to ₹25,000 per annum towards coverage up to ₹10 lakh
- Applicable leave and other benefits
- Provident Fund and Gratuity as per rules

Selected candidates may be posted at HAL's Production, Overhaul and Service Divisions, R&D Centres and offices at locations including Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Hyderabad, Nasik, Koraput, Barrackpore, Lucknow, Kanpur and Korwa. HAL Junior Executive Selection Process 2026
The selection process consists of Interview only. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on the aggregate marks obtained in their qualifying Engineering course.
Candidates will be shortlisted in the maximum ratio of 1:10 against the vacancies in each discipline and category. In case of equal qualifying marks, the older candidate will be considered first. Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in the Interview to qualify, with applicable relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. HAL
HAL Junior Executive Tenure
The selected Junior Executives will be engaged for a maximum period of three years from the date of engagement. The tenure will automatically end after three years and there will be no further extension. The engagement is temporary and does not provide any right to claim regular executive status in HAL. HAL

The application fee is ₹500, inclusive of 18% GST.
SC, ST and PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee. The fee once paid will not be refunded. HAL
